New England Patriots NFL Football

The New England Patriots used to be the Boston Patriots, but in 1971 the team was moved to Foxboro Massachusetts. Foxboro is only 20 miles southwest of Boston, and the patriots are still the team every Bostonian roots for. Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots play, is the most famous attraction in the small town of Foxboro.

Luckily if you’re in Boston and an NFL football fan, the Patriots (often called the Pats) have been one of the best teams in the NFL since 2001. Following the 2001 regular season, the Patriots won Superbowl XXXVI (36). They also won Superbowls XXXVIII (38) and XXXIX (39).

Although it has been a few years since their last Superbowl, the Patriots are always contending for the playoffs and are just fun to watch. Bill Belichick has been coaching the Patriots since 2000—present and he is well-known for his creative defensive schemes. The Patriots are also fun to watch on offense and quarterback Tom Brady is considered one of the best in the game.

The Patriots are so well-loved that it can be difficult to get tickets, but when you do get tickets you get to see excellent football being played by one of the best-run NFL teams.
